Terranova Vitamin D3 2000iu Complex is a unique combination of Vitamin D3 of plant origin (Vitashine D3: the only certified by independent Vegan Society) and a uniquely designed Magnifood complex including spirulina, shiitake mushroom, pumpkin, coriander and rice bran. The synergistic effect of all components maximises the absorption, bioavailability and hence the efficacy of the products.
During the winter months it is harder for the body to produce Vitamin D due to lack of sunlight hours. Some people may find they need to supplement with vitamin D which has been shown to be somewhat preventative against colds and influenza.
